Calculator data

BPM values, device limits, taps, scale lengths, fret counts, and exports are processed in your browser. We do not require an account and do not store those raw inputs on our servers.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page performance. We may also count a small set of anonymous product events, such as starting a tool, completing a calculation, tapping a tempo, previewing a pattern, exporting a file, or sharing a setup. These events contain an event name, tool identifier, action category, and, when you follow a guide link, a fixed article identifier—not your input values, project names, full URL, referrer, user agent, cookies, or a visitor ID.

Saved projects and shared links

Named projects are stored in local storage on the browser where you save them. They are not synced to an account or uploaded as product events. You can remove individual projects in the tool; clearing this site's browser data removes all local projects.

Share links contain the calculator settings needed to restore a setup. Anyone with the link can read those settings. Opening a shared link sends its URL to our hosting provider as part of the page request. A guide identifier in the link lets us count aggregate tool usage by article; it does not identify a visitor.
